A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by British rock group Queen, released in November 1975. Co-produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen, A Night at the Opera was, at the time of its release, the most expensive album ever recorded. I have been a big fan of Glenn's for many years, and for me the last few albums have been to funky and incomplete. This album shows Glenns Brilliant Vocal and song writing ability. My picks are The Boy Is Chasing The Blues, I'm Your Man and So Much Love To Give. For those of you that are a bit tired of Glenn's last few albums this will knok your socks off!

The album was produced under the moniker of the L.A. Blues Authority, a blues project that featured many musicians playing original blues tracks and covers. This is the only album under that name which featured only original material performed by one singer.
This was Hughes’ first solo album to be released after he kicked his drug habits in 1991 and found his ‘higher power’. He hadn’t released an album under his own name since 1977’s Play Me Out. This marked a beginning of a highly productive period in Hughes’ life that still continues.
The album was recorded in three weeks and Hughes’ claims the themes in the record deal with his personal demons of the time.
Guest guitarists include former Europe player John Norum (who had produced the album Face The Truth which featured Hughes on a number of tracks earlier in 1992), Mick Mars of Motley Crue, Warren DeMartini of Ratt and Richie Kotzen of Poison , Mr. Big and Mark Kendall of Great White fame.

It's very easy to wax over eloquent about this album. The two performers - Jordan Rudess on acoustic piano for the entire album and John Pretrucci alternating between classical and electric guitar are two of the best in the business. Drop into either one's website and you will find a list of credits and albums that are a testimony to two musicians who can create and perform with equal facility. Together, they are part of Dream Theater, a progressive rock group that has it's own long thread of musical accomplishment. They are used to playing together, they each have a great deal of respect for each other, making this a truly remarkable album.

There is nothing typical here. From the frantic highspeed chase of The Bite of the Mosguito to the more stately pace of State of Grace each piece of this live concert shows off something else that they can do. Whether one player comes forward, or they are trading licks, or they are playing in concert, the music is always complex, textured, and beautiful to listen to. I like the softer pieces, like From Within and State of Grace best, but it simply is impossible to go wrong, no matter what tracks you play, Very highly recommended.

Let It Be is the twelfth and final studio album released by the English rock band The Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970 by the band's Apple Records label shortly after the group's announced break-up.


Most of Let It Be was recorded in January 1969, before the recording and release of the album Abbey Road. For this reason some critics and fans, such as Mark Lewisohn, argue that Abbey Road should be considered the group's final album and Let It Be the penultimate. Let It Be was originally intended to be released before Abbey Road during mid-1969 as Get Back, but the Beatles were unhappy with this version, which was mixed and compiled by Glyn Johns, and it was temporarily shelved. A new version of the album was created by Phil Spector in 1970 and finally released as Let It Be, serving as the album for the 1970 motion picture of the same name. While three songs from the sessions were released as singles before the album's release, "Get Back"/"Don't Let Me Down" and "Let It Be", the songs were remixed by Spector for the album and "Don't Let Me Down" was not included.
