This CD has some very impressive tracks - and the use of quotes from the book read by Tony Robinson and Stephen Briggs are very effective in creating a Discworld-like atmosphere full of "Narrativium", (see The Science of Discworld). Greenslade's obvious talent shines throughout and the vocals by Tim Whitnall, (from CITV's "Mike and Angelo", and CBBC's "Telletubbies"), are combined in my favourite track - "A Wizards Staff Has A Knob on The End". Just under an hours worth of music makes this CD a must for all Discworld fans. (amazon)
A result of the friendship between Greenslade and Terry Pratchett, the author of the Discworld novels, with narration by Tony Robinson. Greenslade avoids the comic tone of the books, settling instead for a symphonic effect to depict Pratchett's unlikely fantasy world. (allmusic)
